PIEFA's Responce to COVID-19
PIEFA is currently monitoring and abiding by all directives by the Australian, State and Territory Governments.
To minimise health risks during the COVID-19 pandemic, all our face to face meetings and professional learning events have been postponed until further notice.
PIEFA will take advice from our project partners about the rescheduling of professional learning events into the future.
Due to travel restrictions, PIEFA will carry out as many as possible meetings and other liaison by online and remote means.
During these unprecedented times, we will continue to seek ways to collaborate with members, and to assist schools and Australian families to enable education about food and fibre to continue seamlessly.
PIEFA will communicate with its members its response to COVID-19 and intentions henceforth.
PIEFA is working on establishing more online tools to enable enhancement of learning about Food and Fibre outside of the classroom and to assist educators in extending their teaching during these difficult times.
Feel free to contact our office, Education Officer and Chair for further information.
